Established in 1965 by the visionary Mr. James Watkins, a former US Army serviceman, Tasco Sales (Aust) Pty Ltd (TSA OUTDOORS) has risen as one of Australia’s leading privately-owned distributors of small arms, munitions, thermal imaging equipment, optical instruments, and outdoor essentials.

TSA OUTDOORS is currently seeking applications for a dedicated Thermal/Night Vision Account Support Specialist. This role is focused on enhancing our national account network by providing support and education for Pulsar Thermal Imaging and Night Vision Products.

Role Responsibilities:

Support for National and Area Managers:

Collaborate with National Managers on regional special projects.
Assist Area Sales Managers with POS displays and evaluate customer potential as stockiest accounts, reporting findings to the National Manager.
Proactively drive the Pulsar Brand, seeking new customers and opportunities to expand market share in both retail and commercial sectors.

Training and Education:

Conduct targeted dealer training for key accounts identified for significant growth.
Provide comprehensive education and training to government customers, including sales promotion.
Manage government customer orders.

Technical and Customer Support:

Offer technical assistance to customers, representatives, and end users through various channels like phone, email, and in-person.

Secondary Responsibilities:

Participate in trade shows, events, and dealer nights across Australia.
Provide training and educational sessions for ASM and internal staff.
Collaborate in preparing customer training resources with the National Manager and internal support team.
Prepare and submit a detailed monthly activity summary to the National Managers and Directors.
Work with ASMs to identify and schedule dealer events/training nights to promote products.

Key Selection Criteria:

Experience in customer support and technical assistance.
Strong training and educational skills.
Ability to travel nationally as directed.
Excellent communication and project management skills.
Proactive in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.

Qualifications:

Educational Background:

Relevant certifications in sales, customer service, or technical support beneficial.

Experience:

Demonstrated expertise in customer support or sales, ideally within a similar industry.
Proficient experience in delivering training and education, including conducting workshops.
Well-versed in customer relationship management and adept at providing after-sales support.
Possesses an in-depth knowledge and clear grasp of the workings of thermal and night vision products.

Technical Skills:

Knowledge of Pulsar products or ability to learn quickly.
Proficient in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.

Communication Skills:

Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
Strong presentation and public speaking skills.

Organizational Skills:

Effective planning and multitasking abilities.
Detail-oriented with a focus on quality.
