Operating in both national and international markets with clients including but not limited to Australian Retailers and Clubs, the Police Force and other Government contracts, Winchester is a long-established leading distributor and wholesaler within the industry.   In this position of Warranty Support you will work as part of the Trading Team, specifically alongside our Company Gunsmith to support the technical repair and operation of products in line with customer requirements.

Role Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Trading Manager in this role you will be responsible for;

·       Working along side our Gunsmith to provide technical support in the repair of customer products

·       Providing timely response to technical enquiries

·       Support to the Trading team with product testing and support.

·       Providing warranty support for all domestic commercial and military brands.

·       Maintaining warranty processes and company documentation including monthly reporting

Key Selection Criteria:

To be successful in this role you will demonstrate;

·       A Victorian Firearms Licence (Category A & B)

·       High level of firearms industry knowledge

·       Sound knowledge of Firearm safety

·       Sound knowledge of working with power and hand tools

·       The ability to safely use gunsmithing tools, lathes and mills.

·       The ability to interpret blueprints/diagrams for firearms

·       Strong mechanical, woodworking and metalworking skills.

·       Excellent analytical and problem solving skills

·       Excellent communication and presentation skills

·       Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team

·       Knowledge and experience in MS Office applications, including proficiency in excel.
