At The Outpost our goal is to share our passion for shooting sports and the hunting and outdoor lifestyle. We believe that learning to properly handle, maintain, and ultimately how to shoot with a firearm, reinforces valuable principles based around respect, responsibility, and safety, all the while encouraging a spirit of healthy competition and sportsmanship. We highly value a positive team environment, and that stems from the top of the business. We’re committed to making sure each team member is supported behind the scenes, so that they continue to enjoy coming to work for the long run. Every member of our Team is passionate about helping people, enjoying the outdoors and of course, shooting! On top of being CQ’s best equipped shooting store, we are also the regions leading YETI Dealer, and who doesn’t love a bit of YETI Gear!

Applicants must have a current valid Qld Firearms Licence, be over the age of 18 and have extensive experience in Leadership and Retail Store Management. You will be tasked with supporting our sales team behind the scenes, managing inventory and maintaining compliance with all applicable legal requirements. Due to the nature of our business, applicants must be able to strictly follow processes and policies, and be efficient, accurate and prompt with regular reporting and record keeping.

We are a relatively young business, and we’re always reinvesting to continue growing. So we are looking for someone who can spend time in training with our existing teams, and then be flexible with where they base themselves as we expand to multiple new locations in the future.
