Role Responsibilities:
  • Overall supervision of the warehouse, including goods inwards/outwards, stock locations, forklift operations, picking and packing of orders.
  • Ensuring time-critical orders are despatched in a timely manner to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Responsible for continually enforcing a high level of security at all times.
  • Hands-on day-to-day pick/packing, forklift driving, and support where required.
  • Supervision, motivation, and development of the Warehouse Team.
  • Ensure transport consignments are booked, manifested, and despatched on a daily basis.
  • Continually reviewing the latest best practices and optimising efficiency in warehouse processes and operations where possible.
  • Manage and organise warehouse team members in the clearance of firearms with Border Force.
  • Liaise with Sales Team to achieve the best customer outcome when required.
  • Effectively supervising the warehouse team members in ensuring that stock and customer orders are handled accurately and efficiently.
  • Planning, delegation and assigning of daily work.
  • Supervision and assisting in cycle counts of all inventories located within the warehouse and at external sites.
  • Suggesting, monitoring, and analysing KPIs assessment of team members.
  • Implement and maintain all OH&S Policies and Procedures and ISO standards relevant to the warehouse. Communicate any concerns to the Compliance Officer.
  • Responsible for all ordering of warehouse consumables.Always oversee a high level of tidiness and cleanliness at all times.
  • Ensure all suppliers, drivers, and internal customers are provided prompt, efficient, and courteous service at all times.
  • Oversee the investigation of transport issues.
  • Involvement in employing future Warehouse team members
  • Implementation of FIFO control on despatch.

Qualifications:
  • Certificate in Warehousing/Logistics qualifications preferred.
  • An enthusiastic and flexible approach to work.

  • Great work ethics, honesty, flexibility, and integrity.

  • Firearms licence and knowledge are highly desirable.
  • MUST be Australian Citizen or a Permanent Resident of Australia.
  • MUST undergo a National Police check and fingerprints.
