3GT, a premium custom firearms dealership with an excellent reputation for providing genuine, honest advice and great value for money solutions for our customers and clients.  We are seeking an enthusiastic, dedicated and driven Sales Consultant/Trainee Manager to join our dynamic business at 3 Gun Tactical in Tingalpa, QLD.

Due to significant growth in our business, we need a smart, dedicated, passionate team member who can thrive in a fast paced & multi-faceted business.

In this full-time position, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and sales results to contribute to the growth of our retail and online businesses initially.   Ideally, your skills and knowledge will develop quickly, with various training and development, this role provides a pathway to Management position of 3GT and potentially for our other businesses.

You MUST have

  • Right to work in Australia (Citizen or Resident)
  • QLD Firearms license and broad experience with firearms (rifles, shotguns and pistols), and robust understanding of Qld Weapons Act & Regulations.
  • National Police check (or agree to do a check).

  • Outstanding communication and problem-solving skills
  • Enthusiasm for learning and a willingness to take on new challenges
  • Previous retail or customer service experience is essential
  • Ability to work productively with out supervision or frequent direction
  • Strong understanding of financial accounting, including P&L, direct & indirect costs and Revenue drivers
  • Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel & PPT)
  • Experience with Vend POS, WordPress/WooCommerce, Xero  is advantageous – in addition to marketing, social media and CRM capabilities.

Role Responsibilities:
  • Providing friendly and knowledgeable assistance to customers, helping them find the right products to meet their needs
  • Updating and monitoring our online store, checking customer orders and arranging dispatch
  • Processing sales transactions and handling cash and electronic payments accurately
  • Maintaining store displays and ensuring the retail space is well-organised and presentable
  • Ordering inventory, Restocking and dispatching online & instore orders
  • Frequently interacting with Qld Police regarding enquiries relating to firearms registry & firearms audits
  • Assisting Management with administrative tasks and other duties as needed
  • Preparing sales reports & forecasts, as well as accurately monitoring inventory and conducting stock takes
  • Actively participating in training programs to develop your skills and knowledge of our products and services
  • Developing pro-active, innovating marketing ideas and programs
  • Seeking new markets and opportunities for the group
Key Selection Criteria:
  • Australian Resident - must have right to work in Australia already.
  • You need to have strong knowledge on a broad range of current firearms and their applications, optics, thermals and all relevant accessories.  Therefore, being an experienced competition shooter or hunter will put you at an advantage.
  • Passion for customer service and business development.
  • Understanding of General Accounting Principles applicable to business
  • Be able to demonstrate strong attention to detail and problem solving
  • Qld Firearms License - be familiar with Qld Weapons Act and Regulations, especially requirements of Firearms Dealers.
  • National Police Check
  • Experience Customer Service
  • Demonstratable proficiency with MS Office - Word, Excel & PowerPoint
  • Understanding of WordPress, Xero and Vend POS

 

 

Qualifications:
  • Yr 12 Graduate
  • Preferred Bachelor Degree - Business or similar
  • Qld Firearms License
